Since 1984, Genesis has been the leading provider of vital records processing solutions that encompass all events related to vital records (birth, death, marriage, divorce, certified copy issuance, customer service (point of sale), credit card clearing, etc.), vital statistics and related systems such as credit card clearing services and health care modules. The modules are deployed at the state, county and facilities (hospitals, physicians, funeral homes, etc). Recent product additions include ancillary health care packages which provide substantial opportunity for growth.
Genesis currently holds multiple contracts for the development of comprehensive WEB based Vital Records systems for state Departments of Health. Genesis owns the developed code. As such, Genesis is a 'product' company with continuing revenue which translates into job stability with very low staff turnover. Maintaining ongoing client contact Assist the client team as needed to ensure a successful client relationship and to develop additional sales opportunitiesDeveloping new business/government clientele leads and opportunitiesDetermining appropriate technical and business solution for the prospectCoordinate closely with the Marketing Coordinator regarding sales process support needsEnsure excellent customer service for all customersDocument all sales contacts and initiativesImplementing creative ideas to generate leadsThe ability to cold callLead presentations and product demonstrationsParticipate in pricing and contract negotiationsTeam focused attitude requiredAssist in the development of marketing strategies and materialsAssist in the development of a telemarketing componentFollow up with clienteleNational and international travel to potential customersAttend conferences and tradeshow events and serve as a visible marketing representativeProvide prospect and market feedback to relevant segments of the organization
The ideal candidate would possess the following:
Proven sales track record in B2B and B2G relationships (Entry level positions are also available) The ability to create new and innovative IT solutions where none exist IT, large ticket, and commission sales experience strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Positive outgoing attitude with a competitive drive and self-motivated work ethic Ability to work effectively with little supervision Ability and willingness to travel Strong computer skills with a general understanding of network operating systems Valid drivers license in good standing B.S. or B.A. in Business or Information Science or similar Life Education A passion for excellence and achievement Desire to improve people's lives and have FUN doing it!!!!!!!!
