Overview:We are currently seeking talented Software Specialists who are responsible for the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of TT’s fully-managed hosting solution, TTNET™. TTNET™ is the hosting solution for FCMs, trading firms, banks and other institutions that prefer an outsourced solution. The Software Specialist will ensure that our mission critical production systems are accessible and operational to the TTNET™ client base. This particular role is for our 2nd shift (2pm-11pm). Responsibilities:· Manage and administer TTNET™ client base from a technical perspective.· Troubleshooting proprietary software applications for TTNET™.· Monitor network, servers and applications to ensure high availability.· Maintain a working knowledge of Trading Technologies’ applications and systems.· Provide timely support for Trading Technologies software and Windows Server OS. · Help ensure accessibility and continuous operation of mission-critical production systems. Requirements:· 3+ years experience troubleshooting Windows 2000 – XP/2003.· Prior experience supporting client/server applications (preferably from a trading environment).· Experience building mission-critical servers.· Strong networking skills (TCP/IP).· Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.· Prior Systems Administration experience on Unix/Linux, and/or Windows is a plus.· Knowledge of scripting for administrative functions (Perl, VBScript, and Shell) is a plus.· Experience with enterprise NMS products such as Patrol, Orion, Openview is a plus.· Exposure to Cisco Networking Hardware is a plus.· SAN and NAS experience is a plus.TT is committed to providing an environment where highly talented, challenge-hungry people thrive.
