Position Summary
Senior Diagnostic Engineer to develop board and system level diagnostics for next generation hardware platforms. Must be familiar with lab debug of initial boards through final customer shipments. Must work closely with design and manufacturing engineering to specify and implement tests. Must work closely with Platform SW Development group for SW/Firmware integration.

Responsibilities Writing clear and concise diagnostic specifications Develop and debug board level diagnostics Manage firmware release process Board bringup and debug support
Qualifications ‘C’ and Assembly language programming (MIPs experience a plus) C++ experience a plus Skilled with scripting languages like Perl, TCL Familiarity w/ the MIPS-64 architecture Familiarity w/ Intel x86 architecture Knowledge of PCI/PCI Express architecture Experience with Ethernet networking devices; Broadcom switches a plus Experience w/ code management tools: Accurev, Clearcase, etc. Use of hardware debug tools – emulators, analyzers. BSEE or BSCS 5-10 years developing board level diagnostics; both manufacturing and built-in self-tests. Good written & verbal communication skills
