Sr. ECM Technical Lead

The ECM Application Senior Technical Lead’s role is to plan, coordinate and lead all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of Juniper’s Enterprise Content Management systems (Interwoven Suite of products including Teamsite, Open Deploy, MetaTagger, DAM, and Site Publisher etc), applying proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices.


Responsibilities: Help define standards, policies and guidelines ensuring that quality delivery methodologies are defined and implemented. Lead the design, development and deployment of new applications, system software, and/or enhancements to existing business applications within the related ECM space. Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Provide technical leadership to project managers and programmers working on development project teams for the successful completion of all phases of a project. Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, security restrictions, and interface specifications. Lead the development effort as a project providing status reports, coordination and related project documents to ensure that project objectives are met; that product designs are well documented and communicated. Work closely with BSA/functional leads and QA teams in converting functional specifications into detailed design and assist when needed with the creation and execution of test plans. Work with key architects and managers to establish and enforce best practices for delivery of high quality software. Engage in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review and design of the software, including technical review and code review, including reviews of in-house developed code, as well as review of technologies provided by 3rd party vendors. Work closely with the support organization for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications.

 

Experience:

 

§ Experience leading global development teams including developers and technical leads; managing joint development with 3rd party vendors, and outsourced development teams.

§ Experience with Vendor selection and management.

§ Extensive experience with Interwoven suite of products – managing multiple large development initiatives

§ Experience with the integration of various ECM systems – using CSSDK, soap and web services.

§ Familiarity with globalization management systems and integration of the same within CMS systems

§ Exposure to project methodology or work structures; understand project lifecycle

§ Experience with automated software and system management and development tools.

§ Experience designing and developing complex multi-tiered applications.

§ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education Undergraduate degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology
