The Senior Financial Accountant has overall responsibilities for preparing the financial statements for the consolidated entity, and will be actively involved with month end closing tasks related to accruals for corporate expenses. The Senior Financial Accountant will provide assistance with various inventory month end closing tasks and projects including preparing general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations and other accounting projects as necessary. Essential duties: Drives the month end closing activities related to the corporate financial statement consolidation Performs monthly sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliations as necessary.Analyzes the financial statements for reasonableness and prepares the monthly and quarterly corporate financial statement package for management and the board of directors. Performs daily and monthly tasks related to the corporate treasury function including preparing lender borrowing base certificates. Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and other projects as required by accounting management Manage the inventory accounting function in completing month end closing tasks including but not limited to accounting for product warranties, assisting with special projects and researching applicable GAAP pronouncements when necessary. Assists with the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort by maintaining internal control documentation for the corporate and Americas entities.Required SkillsThis position requires a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and possesses the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional business partners, operations and senior management. Critical analytical skill are required to identify profit and process improvement opportunities. Must be able to multi-task under time pressure. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented while being a 'big picture thinker.'Required Experience



Requires BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field/equivalent. Requires a minimum 3 to 5 years Corporate Accounting experience in a mid to large size organization, and high proficiency/advanced skill in Excel. CPA or CPA in progress or equivalent is desireable. Qualified candidates must possess proven abilities to effectively resolve issues; possess exceptional organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills; and thrive in as a team player.
