Description
The Technical Support Manager (TSM) Candidate shall directly support the FAA ABA Network Support Operations.  The candidate will provide support services to accomplish the  objectives and goals of the Division.  Candidates will perform complex evaluations of existing technology and infrastructure, procedures, processes, and techniques concerning network operations support reqirements.  Candidates must have superivory experience as well operations of large customer support help desk functions.



Requirements

 

A Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of direct experience leading a team of engineers and administrators in a LAN/WAN environment. They must be MS Windows savvy and have a complete understanding of the OSI model. They must have extensive TCP/IP experience with routing and switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Storage Area Networking, and Security. They must have familiarity with Cisco, HPOpenview, NetApp or other SAN platforms. They must be able to lead and direct the day to day technical operations and be able to evolve existing technologies to take advantages of advancements and decipher business requirements and translate them into viable network solutions. Must have experience with change management and service level agreements.
