Sr. Operations Manager









Responsible for setting, improving, implementing and managing best operational, financial and reporting practices for the Client Solutions Organization.

 



 

Basic Job Function:

 

Build operations and management reporting processes. Prepare, plan and update forecasts, financial performance, client facing resource utilization and P&L review for both the field and Executives. Work with Executives to build pro-forma models for growth and investment. Coordinate the distribution and collection of completed forecast templates from department heads.  Act as liaison to Solutions Department and IT for design and implementation of MYSAP. Work with legal on contracts management and compliance. Audit and work with management team on expense management. Work with People and Development on implementation of team mate performance reviews, compensation and resource management. Consolidate the departmental forecasts/budgets and analyze the results against prior months and original targets.  Coordinate with all levels of management to report the performance vs. the forecast and budgets.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

Building and coaching of Client Solutions operation team.  Holds reviews for all Area employees. Hires and develops teammates when necessary.

 

Communicate regularly and often with the Client Solution Executive sales and delivery team to ensure that they are aware of opportunities for improvement in the field; to insure informed decision making.

 

Assist with the creation of plans and strategies to achieve Client Solution Department objectives

 

Drive the creation of metrics that measure and track results for accountability and attainment of objectives. Manage ongoing reporting of metrics in Executive dashboards and management reporting systems. Provide regular reporting to executive team. Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial performance and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action.

 

Participates as a member of the Insight Client Solutions Executive Management Team in planning and executing corporate growth and evaluating performance against objectives.

 

Manage field operations including, monthly billing, expense processing, 3rd party contract labor, account receivable, utilization analysis, forecasting, financial review compared to budget and historical trend analysis. 

 

Developing financial benchmark and performance metrics and reporting.

 

Work with field to build analytics on client financial performance and metrics.

 

Analyzes financial information and trends to determine present and future financial performance.  Recommend improvements accordingly.

 

Review financial reporting for exception management of opportunities.  Drive the creating and implementation of executive reporting to manage Client Solution P&L performance.

 

Drive the creation of the Services Budget for all lines of business.

 

Develop and maintain other operational performance metrics. Work with branches to train and assist with services best practices.

 

Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.

 

Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, new business planning, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.

 

Work with People and Development on successful implementation of compensation, Sales commission plan and performance planning.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of strong task oriented results.  The ability to model using advanced Excel functionality is a requirement.  Effectively correspond both verbally and in writing to Executives, managers, and other team mates.  Ability to effectively team with department managers to meet the given time constraints and business requirements.  Due to our rapidly changing business environment, flexibility is a requirement in this position.  Knowledge of SAP and Access is beneficial. Strong people and leadership skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSEducation and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
