We're a fast growing startup with a mission to set the world record for Internet speed and have an immediate need for a Sr. Sales/Systems Engineer to provide pre- and post-sales support for the Territory Sales Rep in the Western Region. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Working closely with the territory rep, you will provide pre- and post-sales technical consulting to prospective customers

· Participate in conference calls, customer visits, and sales presentations

· Perform technical qualification and handle technical customer objections

· Oversee the customer proposal process ensuring the solution and recommendations address all customer requirements



Here's what we're looking for:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field

· 7+ years experience in a “customer facing” environment such as sales or technical consulting

· Detailed knowledge of Internet technologies, must have very strong networking background including in-depth TCP/IP knowledge, and network design experience

· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Ability to successfully go complete sales presentations on one’s own (if needed)

· A proven track record demonstrating good business judgment, an ability to make decisions, and a passion for excellence

· Must be willing to travel approximately 30%
