Sr. Software Engineer - Java - 137JB

Responsibilities
Responsible for design, development, and testing on an enterprise web application.
Work with other developers to make architecture and design decisions.
Review work by other developers.
Review requirements and provide estimates.
Diagnose production issues and provide corrective measures or workarounds.

REQUIREMENTS
A thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures along with a strong products based development background, experience in designing and building high performance, scalable and maintainable web applications. Strong understanding of object-oriented development concepts, software design, software quality and performance

- 5+ years of software development and design experience with Java/J2EE (JDBC, JSP, and
Servlets)
- 1+ years with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) Tools - Hibernate Preferred
- 2+ years JSP, Struts, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS
- 3+ years SQL and Backend Development
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, team player
- Experience with RUP (Rational Unified Process) and XP (Extreme
Programming) software development methodologies
- Knowledge of UML diagrams

Practical Experience with the Following Tools and Frameworks:

- 2+ years XML (DOM4J, XML Schema, XPath) is a plus!
- Struts, Spring, Hibernate
- JUnit
- Ant
- JSTL
