The Senior Systems Engineer ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This includes monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all enterprise hardware, software and associated operating systems. The Systems Engineer applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues and to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

 

En Pointe is currently looking for a customer-serving Systems Engineer with  MICROSOFT /Novell  certification and at least 3years of experience some of the following areas:

 

Experience (SOME OF THE BELOW EXPERIENCE)

 

- Novell Netware / OES

- SUSE Linux

- Novell eDirectory

- Novell Workgroup Solutions

- Novel ZenWorks

- Novell and Microsoft Migrations

- Disaster Recovery Planning & Management

- System Design and Documentation

- Managing technical projects

- Enterprise Backup Management

- Windows 2003 Server Family

- Microsoft Exchange 2003 / 2007

- Microsoft Active Directory

- IBM/Lotus Notes and Microsoft Migrations

- Cisco Network Infrastructure Devices

- HP JetDirect and Enterprise Printing

- Citrix Enterprise Solutions

 

 

- Our Senior Systems Engineers have experience in requirements analysis, specifying and leading technical project engagements, and communicating progress.

Desired Skills

A current CNE or similar certification is preferred, and other technical certifications such as  EMC, Symantec, VMWare,  ITIL, CompTIA, or PMI are a ++.
