   Sr. Systems Engineer-Microsoft



We are currently looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer-Microsoft. This position provides post sales technical expertise for client IT environments. The environment may be one that Insight has designed, or it may be an existing client environment. Duties include but are not limited to advanced infrastructure implementations around Microsoft products.

Responsibilities:

 

Provide timely and effective billable services to clients.

 

Work with Consulting Engineers, Network Consultants, and potentially lead Systems Engineers to deliver Insight’s customized client solutions.

 

Report billable time to Practice Coordinator.

 

Implement solutions designed around OEM infrastructure products.

 

Provide expertise to Insight clients requiring technical support with their IT environment.

 

Install and configure common solutions.

 

Install and configure LAN devices for connection to client networks.

 

Assist with ongoing configuration and maintenance of existing LAN equipment to maximize performance.

 

Maintain a knowledge set of new technologies.

 

Work closely with Insight Systems Engineers and Consultants to ensure timely delivery of customized client solutions.

 



Technical Requirements:





(4)+ years experience w/ Active Directory and Exchange 2k, 03', or 07'





(2) + years scripting experience





MCSE

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSEducation and/or Experience:

 

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
