*LMR is a complex EMR developed by our client.  It is not necessary to have previous experience with this.*

The Sr. LMR Technical Lead is responsible for coordinating and driving efforts in support of the LMR's reliability, scalability and performance. Working with the LMR team in support of its electronic medical records application, this candidate will lead efforts not only in support of the system but also to maintain and recommend improvements in these areas. Candidate must have extremely strong communication skills and be able to lead discussions of complex technical issues with a multidisciplinary team. The Sr. LMR Technical Lead position is technology and consumer focused. This highly visible position requires extensive communication with internal and external customers and excellent analytic skills. Technical writing is also a requirement for this position.

The Sr. LMR Technical Lead role includes the following responsibilities:Coordinates the diagnosis and resolution of LMR reliability and performance issues:Coordinates the collection of data and observations related to reported LMR performance issues. Documents and communicates the status of LMR performance issues to IS staff and, when appropriate, LMR users. Coordinates and leads discussions with various technical disciplines to identify and prioritize reliability and performance improvements.  Recommends reliability and performance improvements to LMR team. Where appropriate, manages LMR projects focused on reliability, scalability and performance improvement. Working with LMR implementation and development teams, identifies appropriate desktop and networking infrastructure for LMR practice sites.

Responsible for the regular communication to Executive, Site and Practice Management on status of LMR performance and availability.Develops and communicates standards for LMR desktop and networking infrastructure.Provides technical consultation as needed to LMR team.Identifies the need for any technology research related to the LMR application.Participates in the architectural evaluation of LMR projects where appropriate.Works in conjunction with PHS Enterprise Performance and Service Level Management groups.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Web Application InfrastructureGenerally holds a Bachelors Degree in a healthcare, computer science or other related field.  Commonly has 8+ years of IT or Healthcare experience, 5+ years in IT project management. Proven technical project management and leadership skills

Acts as technical lead/manager for an average of four on-going medium system/performance projects, or 1-2 large system/performance projects.

Updates and trains staff on new technologies as they come into use within the company.Acts as backup for the other team leaders and project specialists in their absence and support their systems and projects.
