Sr. Windows Application Developer

Job Description:

Bigfoot Networks is looking to hire an experienced programmer and application developer with deep knowledge in Windows GUI programming.  Candidate will be responsible for development of innovative small networking applications that allow users to test, interact, and experience networking in whole new ways.  Many applications will be developed using a methodology of rapid development of applications followed by a continuous enhancement process with internal, external, and beta testing.

The ideal candidate will have experience programming in C#, C++, .net and MFC.  Candidate should have experience developing simple installers using standard tools for Windows Operating systems (across multiple versions).  Candidate should also understand the basics of networking & be able to do network sockets programming, multithreaded programming, and multiprocessor programming.  Ability to rapidly develop a simple GUI application that connects to powerful programming libraries is a must.  In addition the ideal candidate will have a passion or interest in video games and/or networking technologies. 

Responsibilities:Develop and test simple, effective Windows GUI applications using Bigfoot’s powerful proprietary libraries.Assist in the develop and test of installation and configuration applications related to network card products. Work with CEO/CTO/Architect teams to identify and develop new technologies, products, and opportunities. Work with customers (Game companies and others) in the use and deployment and development of products using Bigfoot Technology.

Our Ideal Candidate: BSCS (Bachelors in Computer Science) 5+ years in windows application development. 3+ years in use of networking software and sockets using C++. Artistic skill in creating powerful but simple GUI programs. Knowledge of XML. C#, C++, .net, and MFC, as well as installer development tools. Able to work well in small groups and lead engineering teams at the project level. Willingness to learn new things and contribute new ideas at the highest levels. Experience in start-up work environment
