Location: Raleigh, NC 27615 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: 100701799 Our client is looking for a Storage and Recovery Team Member to join their team in Raleigh, NC.  This is a long-term contract opportunity with benefits, paid holidays, and vacation.  They are looking for someone to maintain server infrastructure and resolve server-related support incidents.  Required Skills: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline Strong knowledge level of Windows NT, 2000, 2003 server and associated tools Strong knowledge of Veritas NetBackup   Design and build Veritas NetBackup master and media servers  Patch Veritas NetBackup servers and clients as required  Add tape drives, libraries and Virtual Tape Libraries to backup environment Install and configure Veritas NetBackup client software on hosts Establish backup policies with schedules and retentions to meet customer requirements Restore data as requested by customers Monitor backup and restore jobs and respond to failures  Adjust backup schedules to ensure best use of available resources Participate in actual and test disaster recovery situations within the scope of areas of responsibility for position Produce and maintain documentation of all storage, backup/restore and disaster recovery configurations, processes and proceduresNice to have Skills SAN/NAS Disaster recovery  Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
