JOB SUMMARY

 

The Strategic Relationship Manager owns all relationships for their assigned VGS customers and strategic partners.  This role maintains responsibility for understanding customer potential and needs to continually build the relationship. The position will facilitate the interaction between key customers and product managers to deliver requirements for new and existing products features and/or service offerings. Strategic Relationship Manager will possess a strong understanding of the settlement service industry with needed technical acumen to effectively support VGS customers. Job duties include relationship management, researching and authoring business requirement documents, managing priority of change/service requests and driving status communications to the partner.  This position serves as a liaison, bridging the gap between the VGS business, partner operations, product management and information technology.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage the strategic relationships for all assigned partners by driving product and service offering adoption from strategic planning to tactical implementationEstablish and manage customer expectations for business and technology initiativesDevelop an organic growth strategy by interpreting business needs and current market conditionsCreate customer business intelligence that effectively establishes communication using standardized artifacts including monthly executive summaries, presentations, and product/service implementation proceduresAnalyze and identify trends through review of partner data to suggest enhanced business process flows and recommend functional training to insure effective, efficient use of the Vision solution

· Work with product management and IT on behalf of the partner(s) to ensure all business requirements are addressed within corresponding technical design

· Prioritize and over-site of partner requests and issues throughout the software development lifecycle

· Coordinate activities such as release planning and specification review with Product Managers insuring quality of service

· Moderate partner User Acceptance Testing sessions and manage issues and concerns to satisfactory completion

· Review VGS performance and review with partner to insure customer satisfaction

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

· Undergraduate Degree (Technical or Business Degree) or equivalent work experience

· 5+ years of related industry experience

· Working knowledge of business process flow and system design

· Strong verbal and excellent written communication skills; strong attention to detail

· Knowledge or experience in mortgage banking, title and residential closings a plus

· Excellent time management skills

· Proven ability to develop working relationships at multiple levels of the organization

· Collaborative team player with the ability to build consensus

· Ability to analyze complex concepts and solve problems across domains (business, functional, technical, and operational)

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project) or other documentation tools.  Knowledge of basic SQL driven queries a plus

· Ability to handle change and ambiguity

· Effective in a fast paced environment

· Ability to be Self directed and motivated
