Supply Chain Analyst

Kensington Computer Products Group is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to perform the production planning, re-buying and logistics activities required to support the companies finished goods inventory requirements.

 

Duties:Assist with sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to generate the operational forecast for assigned product linesPrepare and distribute service reports.Be the primary day-to-day contact with our customer teams, product teams, outsourced suppliers, logistics providers, and distribution centers regarding inventory, operational forecasts, and logistical issues.Analyze and execute distribution and replenishment plans to re-order and/or re-balance inventory as required to support service and inventory goals while minimizing Supply Chain costs within defined inventory re-order policies. Coordinate PO placement, expediting, de-expediting, PO re-direct, pre-deployment and redeployment with suppliers, Logistics providers and DC's.Ensure data integrity within our planning systems (Oracle and Manugistics and Reportnet) per published guidelines for all Kensington items. Establish processes and exception reports and revise as needed to streamline this activity.Execute rework, supplier direct, drop shipments, and/or inspection of inventory as required to service customer requirements, quality and costs. Ensure that Kensington business processes are followed, and to communicate changes in our processes internally and to suppliersCompile Management Reports as required and communicate reports internally to Supply Chain team and externally with suppliers as needed.Assist with global supply chain coordination and Postponement and Asset Recovery initiatives.Responsible for an annual purchase spend of $10-25M annually, supporting an average of $4-5M of Inventory.Qualifications:
B.S. degree in statistics, mathematics, operations management or related field, or equivalent working experience. APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) Certification and NAPM CPM certification is desirable.Minimum five years experience in a forecasting, purchasing/re-buying, master scheduling, inventory control department using a closed loop manufacturing or MRP system is required. International Purchasing/Importing experience from outsourced suppliers preferred.Proficient in Excel and Word.Working knowledge of planning systems; Manugistics and PRMS/MRP are desirable, but not required. Strong analytical skills, communication skills (both written and verbal), and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, changing team environment.Ability to make sound business decisions under pressure.Strong attention to detail.Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.Ability to perform effectively working in a "team" environmentPlease Note:  Local candidates will be given priority as no relocation will be provided for this position.
