Symantec On-Site Vendor Representative

Our Merchandising Department has an outstanding opportunity for an Symantec On-Site Vendor Representative at our Corporate Headquarters in Auburn, WA.  If you meet the necessary qualifications, want the following responsibilities, and feel you can make a direct impact, we want to hear from you.

 

Objective of the Position:

 

1)  Increase sales revenue and gross margin for Zones on Computer Associates Products.

 

2)  Be the on-site Computer Associates product expert.

 

3)  Train and promote Computer Associates’ products, execute on programs, and support some merchandising functions.

 

Key Initiatives:

 

Account Management

 Develop a quarterly Plan of Action for reaching all goals established. Provide weekly updates and forecasts. Create a company-wide Computer Associates product awareness campaign. Develop Computer Associates marketing programs and strategies. Create and implement effective marketing plans, including promotions and product launches. Analyze participation in existing sales programs to determine effectiveness. Assist in creating programs to drive sales increases of HP products.

 

Sales Management

 Increase sales revenue of Computer Associates products. Manage the Computer Associates Leads-management program, Direct Mail Campaigns, Trainings and Sales Seminars. Support the preparation of bids and RFP’s. Identify opportunities to increase revenue and provide value to the customer Track rebate goals. Provide outbound call services on behalf of Computer Associates.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

·  B.A. or B.S. degree is required, however extensive experience may be substituted for education.

·  3-5 years of strategic merchandising account management, or related industry experience.

·  Must have good organizational and time management skills; good interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong negotiating skills;

·  Expertise in Computer Associates products and services.

·  Proficiency in computer terminology and technologies. Must have an excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
