System Lead Engineer - Server

Location: NC - Raleigh Relocation Provided: Yes Education Required: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years Position Description: Lenovo Emerging Products Business Unit is looking for a Lead Technical Engineer (System Lead) to drive the design and validation of key products. This person will be the key focal point in the development of workstations, Servers, PC's and other unique products for emerging markets. Candidate will have the opportunity to drive a team of motivate and highly skilled Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Thermal Engineers. Skills required are knowledge of PC and server design and validation, including PC and Server Motherboards as well as Power Supply Design, understanding of BIOS and Thermal Design concepts. Experience with PC debug tools is a must. Candidate must posses excellent team work and communication skills. Experience working with various Asian based suppliers and partner is a plus. Position Requirements: To be considered for this position, candidates must have: 1) 3 - 5 years experience in PC and Server Design and Validation, experience must include Motherboard Design Architecture. 2) Knowledge of power supply, memory, opticals and hard drives. 3) A Bachelor's Degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science 4) Ability to lead other engineers in system design and debug 5) Excellent teamwork
