Systems Analyst

Relocated to Houston, Texas, Luby’s, Inc., incorporated since 1959, provides its restaurant guests with a wide variety of delicious, home-style food, with the majority of 129 locations serving cafeteria-style. Luby's is currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our IS Department.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Administer active directory, servers, and storage systems to insure that environments are secure and reliable.

·  Manage and support security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus systems.

·  Manage and support server backups systems and software.

·  Manage and support replication and collocation systems.

·  Provide Level 2 support for network operations issues.

·  Special Projects as directed by the Manager of Infrastructure SystemsJob Specifications:Two- or Four-year degree in IS or related field Must have strong understanding of computer network fundamentals Certifications (MCP, MCSE, CCNA, CCMP) Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and development tools Must be able to travel domestically up to 25% Must be able to work independently  Must have the ability to think creatively
