Systems Analyst (AS/400, RPG, iSeries)

Sandvik Materials Technology, a world leader in the manufacture of Specialty Metal Products, has an immediate opportunity for a Data Warehouse Business Analyst. This position will be located at the Sandvik facility in Clark Summit, Pennsylvania, but will be required to travel to other Sandvik sites, in support of business initiatives.

 

Key Performance Areas:

 Business Process Analysis & Improvements in an iSeries/400 environment Application Design, Development, and Implementation specifically using BPCS ERP. Project Management, Coordination, and Facilitation of various projects. Internal Customer Support & Employee Training for Software applications.



Your Profile:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science strongly desired. However, candidates with an AS Degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience will be considered. 3-5 years developing AS/400 and iSeries applications using RPG, CL, RPG ILE, and Infor AS/SET.  IBM Websphere and/or Ms SQL experience a plus. 2 – 3 years working with Infor BPCS or ERP LX a plus Cognos Data Warehousing/Reporting a plus Strong 21st century communications and presentation skills Solid systems experience in an automated manufacturing environment, including “Shop Floor” reporting and Financial Management reporting Ability to excel in a team and / or autonomous, continuous improvement environment Some travel required. Ability to speak / read Spanish a plus.
