Systems Specialist

Sea Change Software seeks a creative individual to supplement our long-term staff of professionals.   Our environment is high-paced and energetic as we continue to grow and expand our products and services.  Successful candidates will deploy client-server applications and support production databases, which support includes performance, integrity and availability.  They will work closely with the Software Development Client Service teams in both a leadership and hands-on role.

 

Essential Functions

 Will have responsibility for deployment of client-server applications and support of production databases, including connectivity to servers, workstations and printers.

 

.Qualifications

· U.S. Citizenship or equivalent required.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

· Working knowledge of database tuning, backup, recovery, replication and scripting.

· Experience with TCP/IP and Windows is preferred.

· Experience with InterSystems Caché database is preferred.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.
