Your profile:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Systems Test Engineer to test very large-scale, highly-available, backend services. This position is ideal for systems test engineer with min. of 5 years experience and the ability/experience to propose and implement innovative test solutions and strategies.

 

Technical skills:

- Solid Linux back-end testing experience (min. 5 years)

- Shell scripting or other scripting languages: Perl or Python is a must

- Knowledge of network fundamentals and protocols including TCP, UDP, HTTP etc.

- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale services

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

 

General skills:

- Ability to think outside the box and propose new solutions

- “can do” attitude IS A MUST

- Energetic, self-motivated, quick learner, team worker

- Can work well in a fast-paced start-up environment

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

NOTES:

The ideal candidate may have experience testing the back-end platform for Yahoo, Google or Akamai.
