The TCRM administrator will be directly responsible for supporting and maintaining the Teradata CRM application and related activities such as but not limited to: creating custom segmentation, creating file extracts; and writing and supporting SQL queries, creating legends, cross segment analysis, configure and maintain communications, segmentation and personalization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS TCRM General and Analytics: 60% Configures and maintains packaged CRM software modules which include: Cross Segment Analysis, customer Behavior Analysis, Product Affinity Analysis, Percentile Analysis Works with marketing and database marketing analysts to develop, modify and maintain CRM system functionality to support customer loyalty and customer marketing promotions, campaigns and communications Ability to work closely with Marketing teams to understand and assist them with customer communication and promotion strategies Utilize Communications, Segmentation and Personalization modules of Teradata TCRM software Administration: 40% Configure and Develop Customer communications and Campaign/Event Management Manage System and Scheduled Jobs, User Administration, etc. Metadata Management Must have in-depth knowledge of TCRM metadata management Experience in Metadata related Operational and Periodic Maintenance Tasks Coding and Development of CRM Vie Creation and Tuning Proficient in understanding and writing SQL; hands-on experience with tuning TCRM related queries for performance; Teradata V2R6 experience a plus Software, Hardware and network Support Experienced with TCRM implementation, upgrades and enhancements, good knowledge of networks to troubleshoot issues with connectivity, knowledge of setting up FTP and Email Operation Management Troubleshoot errors, work with users to resolve problems, migrate TCRM related objects between environments, conduct training sessions to educate users on application usage, manage buffers and output files Skills: Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and design skills A strong blend of technical and business knowledge Self-motivated with ability to drive out tasks with broad supervision Ability to work in a fast paced team environment High level PC skills and expert in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Microsoft Project, Visio Must have understanding of prevailing data warehouse architectures including, at a minimum, Bill Inmon’s Corporate Information Factory Required Experience: The candidate should have proven experience will all areas of an enterprise data warehouse solution including ETL from operational systems to Data Warehouse repository and ETL from Data Warehouse to data marts, data mining and analytical applications. Must have 5+ years technical experience as a systems, technical or data analyst Must have 4+ years performing data analysis and full life-cycle development or support experience within a data warehousing environment Demonstrated proficiency using SQL (4+ years). Should have experience with stored procedures. Experience with Design and development of Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models for a data warehouse (normalized and dimensional) Expertise in designing complex SQL and CRM processes (3+ years). Background should include development of complex SQL queries and other analytical processes. Retail experience a plus. Operating System Experience should include (Solaris/UNIX, Windows NT, 2000,XP – i-series AS/400 would be a plus) Experience with Oracle 8i or greater, Teradata V2R5+ Retail Experience preferred; Retail Point of Sale systems experience a plus Developing Marketing/CRM systems in a data warehouse environment is a plus Experience working with iterative software development methodologies Experience using data modeling tools, specifically Erwin Experience with Teradata, Siebel, or other comparable systems preferred UNIX Shell scripting experience (1-2 years) Development experience with Teradata Data Warehouse and stored procedures is a plus
