Currently, we are seeking a Technical Service Engineer for our Milwaukee area location.Position Requires: Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience or an Associate’s/ equivalent training and 2-4 years experience. Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a technical hosting and services, and serve as backup IT when needed. Successful candidate will need to be self-reliant and not always rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Great interpersonal skills and the ability to train co-workers and work with customers on a daily basis both in person and on the phone. Ability to identify, analyze, and repair product failures. Should be able to order, quote, and replace software and hardware parts as needed as well as determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs and implement them with certainty. Desired: Ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain one or more of the folowing products: MS SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, C#, and ASP .NET. Current MCSE is a plus. Previous experience in architecture design and development at a hosting facility as well as working with security and command center products desireable General and specific knowledge and experience with general hosting security and policies and procedures, security architecture requirements, application and code review, change management, authentication and access control, threat and vulnerability assessments, network security, firewalls, intrusion detection, security monitoring, incident response handling, data backup and disaster recovery planning, physical security and environmental controls, encryption techniques, and various logging techniques would be a plus.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to a diverse workforce.
