Technician

Support the hardware and software engineering development of our industry leading line of display wall controllers.

 

Responsibilities:

-  Under general supervision and as a contributing member of a cross-functional team, support development engineers to release products to manufacturing.

-  Duties will include configuring test systems, debugging engineering development builds of new products, performing tests, and managing lab resources.

-  Maintain, organize, and supply lab space and test equipment.

-  Create and update engineering/manufacturing documents such as drawings, parts lists, and specifications.

-  Support the administration of the engineering change order (ECO) system.

 

Requirements:

-  AA or equivalent with at least 4 years experience supporting product development.

-  Strong problem solving and algorithmic skills.

-  Good written and verbal communication skills.

 

Skills and Background:

-  Ability to solder and troubleshoot boards and systems built with modern surface mount components.

-  Familiarity with test equipment, including meters, oscilloscopes and data analyzers.

-  Ability to manage multiple tasks.

-  Experience with personal computers, video circuits, and graphics chips.

-  Familiarity with Windows and Linux computer systems.

-  Creation and maintenance of documentation and procedures within an ISO-9001 document control system.
