Telecommunications Services Resource Need --   Description: Telecommunications Resource is seeking a short term (estimated 320 hours) contractor to perform the following tasks: • Oversee equipment procurement and/or coordinate the field activity of multiple vendors participating in several data/voice projects to include: o Campus-wide Nortel wireless component installation/deployment Voice/data provisioning of multiple on/off-campus buildings used for housing, administration, instruction and/or research purposes as well as firewall, intrusion detection, and load-balancing devices. • Serve as liaison between Director of Communication Technologies and vendors related to each project.   Required • Minimum (3)three years of voice and data communications experience • Demonstrated skills in human relationsPreferred: • Minimum 2 years experience and/or familiarity with Nortel/Cisco telecommunications solutions (e.g., PBX, switches, firewalls, Clean Access, Wireless devices, etc.) • Advanced degrees and/or certifications in related field (e.g., networking, telecommunications, etc.)  * Short-term assignment
