C++ / Java Developer - Trading Systems

Description:
Our client, a leading provider of electronic trading solutions, is building a new development team in Chicago, and is looking for experienced C++ / Java software developers at all levels to join their organization. This is a ground floor career opportunity to join this fast growing company. In this role you will be responsible for hands-on development of market connectivity interfaces and client/server applications in C++ and Java. The role will be responsible for interfacing with several groups within the organization, as well as external clients.

Requirements:
*C++ and/or Java development experience in a Unix / Linux environment.
*  Experience developing trading systems, and a solid understanding of client/server architectures, multithreaded, real-time systems is required. Order Routing and Market Data exposure a plus.
*  Experience developing market connectivity interfaces (API's) for financial markets (e.g. CME,  CBOE, etc) a plus.
*  FIX / QuickFIX or Corba experience preferred.
*  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
