Unix Systems Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Job Description:Systems Engineering support for legacy enterprise applications running on an old version of AIX. Provides technical support and consultation for operating systems (Primarily Unix with heavy AIX work, and limited Windows). Performs systems tasks associated with installation and customization of program products. Uses general specifications to identify and resolve moderately complex to complex systems software and hardware problems. Will be responsible for supporting multiple hardware platforms.Unix Systems EngineerRequired Skills:- Strong Unix background, with at least moderate AIX specific experience. - Experience supporting Unix and AIX operating systems - Looking for Systems Engineering skills, and not pure Systems Administration skills - Experience supporting both hardware and applications at a systems level - Experience with BCP fail-over testing - Prefer experience working in enterprise IT environments, and experience supporting IT representatives across multiple locations (remotely) Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
