Position Description Gather requirements for new custom Windows tools and technologies to improve deployment and maintenance of the Windows platform Develop custom tools and utilities in Visual Basic using system APIs for Windows Package and integrate software to be distributed to the Windows client through software delivery transports like SMS Provide 3rd level technical support for Windows Operating system and custom tools Maintain windows client with Group Policies and Patching Maintain documentation for Windows client and custom tools Participate in the annual security review processExperience Required: Administration of Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP, Vista) and systems configuration and management technologies (i.e. Group Policy, SMS) in a large enterprise environment 5+ years designing and developing applications with Visual Basic 5+ years packaging software (InstallShield/WISE) and deploying software (SMS) in large enterprise Experience gathering requirements and developing applications Should have the following skills: Windows XP and Windows Vista, Visual Basic (.NET, Win32, COM, WMI), InstallShield or WISE Package Studio, Microsoft SMS for patch management, Group Policy Desired: C/C++ (Native, MFC, ATL, STL)To apply for this position OR If you are interested in being considered for these types of opportunities, please forward your resume for consideration and indicate Job Code: MDETWCDAfter reviewing your resume, if we feel your background is a match with our current opportunities a recruiter will contact you.
