Position Summary:  

 

A company in the manufacturing technology sector with over 20 years of business experience seeks a talented Graphic Designer to join “the team”. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years experience in Graphic Design with a marketing influence. You will work with managers throughout the company who will depend on you for consistently accurate finished products. You MUST know and trust your expertise to proof your own work.

 
The Graphic Designer / Internet Marketing Assistant works with the Marketing team to identify and acquire prospects and customers via the Internet.  The candidate will employ various online marketing techniques including paid and organic search marketing, affiliate marketing, contextual advertising, and other pay-for-performance media, email campaigns, and internet based lead generations.  In addition, this individual will report on the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and strategies.

 

The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to: Expert knowledge of design software including Quark Xpress, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator. Experience and understanding of HTML production, web graphic formats and design software including Flash & Dreamweaver  required. Utilize Graphic Design techniques for creating product images, brochures, flyers, data sheets, public relations materials, advertising and other marketing materials. Create and enhance site design, layout, content and navigation to provide a highly relevant and usable site experience Maintain company’s website. Work with outside firm to ensure that company online presence is keyword rich and easily navigated. Produce, negotiate, budget and manage company marketing programs.

Requirements: BA/BS or equivalent work experience required Minimum 2-4 years of progressive marketing experience. Minimum 2 years of web site management required. Graphic Design experience required: Portfolio of previous work preferred. Experience utilizing ADOBE Creative Suite 3, MS Excel, Word, Outlook. Designer/Developer Skills: Flash, HTML, CSS, PHP, E-commerce Ability to multi-task and prioritize Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong desire for quality work
