Worldwide Product Marketing Manager

Worldwide Product Marketing Manager Provides overall product marketing leadership for a mix of capture products and solutions (bundled software, hardware, service and services) for the Document Imaging business, worldwide. Responsible for developing and driving marketing content for assigned offerings and working with product management, business research and regional marketing teams to launch successful products with strong value propositions and product positioning for both end users and channel partners. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Input to New Product Commercialization Process Partner with product management to provide input to Marketing Requirements Key contributor for new Product Concepts, Product Roadmaps and Market Attack Plans Create and deliver worldwide marketing plans for each assigned commercialization project Worldwide marketing representative on multi-functional project teams in support of all Phases and Gates and reviews Product Positioning & Evangelization Create and deliver convincing and articulate positions for Kodak products and solutions in a competitive environment Represent Kodak at seminars and industry education events Marketing Content Development Refine the product value proposition and positioning as the product moves through commercialization phases and gates, based on expected market forces and competitive scenarios Drive overall messaging and positioning of assigned products and solutions, ensuring all marketing materials are in support of the value proposition Drive development of all marketing content, including customer-facing marketing collateral and selling tools, for assigned products and solutions for delivery by regional personnel Lead development of additional marketing content as needed for use and delivery by regional personnel Competitive Benchmarking Analysis Identify and recommend competitive products and solutions for internal benchmark analysis Work with business research and product management to develop strong, fact-based sales and marketing arguments for Kodak products in head-to-head competition Product Launch Management Overall leadership for all worldwide launch deliverables for assigned offerings Co-leadership with worldwide marketing communications for worldwide product launch management including project management, determination of launch deliverables, content creation, project schedules and accommodating regional needs Special Projects & Initiatives (as required) Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of business-to-business product marketing experience with bundled software and hardware solutions, or software solutions within the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Document Management industry Ability to analyze and guide sound marketing and business decisions based on customer insight, i.e., a combination of business research data and industry experience Strong ideation abilities Proven ability to manage others through influence (informal leadership) Interest and skill working in team environments characterized by consensus-building and shared decision rights across organizations Ability to determine appropriate levels of marketing mix and offer marketing budget recommendations to management and regional personnel Ability to recommend appropriate customer needs assessments and other Voice of Customer activities to product management and business research teams Ability to develop and articulate high-level messaging for assigned product sets Strong, interpersonal communications and team relationship skills in working across functions and globally, across cultures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve objectives Robust problem solving skills and decision-making skills Ability to multi-task, manage tight deadlines, be resourceful and flexible Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrates strong initiative and has a desire to learn Outstanding communication (oral, written) and presentation skills and the ability to generate enthusiasm and command respect among industry audiences Demonstrated project management and budget development and management skills Ability to recommend and implement creative approaches to solutions marketing opportunities Ability to proactively deal with controversy and resolve conflicting input from regional marketing contacts and achieve common ground to keep projects moving forward without compromising quality or deadlines Demonstrates strong external customer focusDemonstrates empathetic internal customer focus (with global marketing contacts in particular)
