Position Summary
To coordinate all technical aspects of the configuration and support of Electronic Trading.

 

ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and proactively manage Electronic Trading Servers, Gateways and Networks24/6 operational support as required; on-call rotationCoordinate with ISV’s and build team as well as network and hardware specialists to resolve electronic trading issuesPerform hardware/software upgrades of servers as neededManage vendor related issues and software deliveriesPerform other duties or projects, as assigned

 

AccountabilitiesFutures industry experienceDemonstrated proficiency in GLTrade applicationsDemonstrated proficiency in PATSystems applicationsDemonstrated proficiency using FIXFamiliarity with exchange specific architectures such as Eurex MISSDemonstrated proficiency in Trading Technologies applications

 

Technical SkillsKnowledge in Solaris and Linux but proficient in at least oneWindows proficiencyFamiliarity with general network concepts and hardware

 

CompetenciesMotivated and self reliantStrong client service orientationGood verbal and written communication skillsAssertiveWell organized, detailed orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and react well under pressureAbility to work in a Global team environment

 

Experience Needed2 years experience building and supporting electronic trading systems3 years IT experience in futures industry

 

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience
