Sr. Oracle DBA
Location: Eagan, MN
Contract to Hire or Permanent position

Our client is  looking to add a Senior Database Engineer to the database team.  This team supports eCommerce and corporate infrastructure application databases.  These systems use Oracle with IDMS and IBM DB2/UDB database software running on Linux, AIX and Solaris. 

Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree — Computer Science, technical or engineering degree preferred

· 5+ years experience with Oracle on Unix platforms

· Basic data modeling

· Minimum of 3 years experience with UNIX shell scripting

· Experience with Linux preferable

· Strong quantitative, analytical, communication and verbal skills with a strong customer service focus

· Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently toward assigned goals

· Preferable 5+ years in a development or support organization supporting large applications
