Join a leading nationally recognized organization located in Memphis, TN as a Project Manager within the Information Technology department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing project assignments through completion; leading and directing project teams; communicating results; making recommendations to management; and providing training.
1. Identifies required resources; researches project data, procedures and history for a thorough understanding of project direction.
2. Generates and analyzes statistical data reports.
3. Develops, prepares and manages project plan through completion.
4. Coordinates and facilitates project teams; assigns responsibilities to team participants.
5. Communicates activity progress to involved parties.
6. Resolves issues that arise involving client, when appropriate.
7. Prepares and distributes minutes of meetings.
8. Transitions program to management personnel.
9. Participates in oral presentations.
10. Develops and provides training to management and co--workers as needed.

REQUIRED Experience:
* Minimum of Two (2) years IT project management 

* Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and excellent documentation skills.

* Bachelors degree with major in Business Administration, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis or Computer Science preferred.

PREFERRED Experience:
* Managed care, insurance-related and/or statistical analysis experience preferred
* Previous software development and/or business analysis experience preferred
* PM Certification preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
• Thorough knowledge of related field procedures or insurance-related procedures and/or managed care systems and operations
• Strong knowledge of project management and statistical business analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and work in a team environment
