AS/400 COBOL developer

Opportunity to convert to full-time.Opening in the Triangle area of North Carolina for a programmer analyst with AS/400 (iSeries), COBOL, ILE, SQL developer. Responsible for the analysis, design, development, installation, modification and support of software applications. Conducts programming tasks including program design, program specifications, program coding, debugging and documentation. Conducts proper testing before promoting to production to ensure a quality product. Will Develop and support complex integration software. Utilize multiple scripting and programming languages and operating systems. Provide technology guidance. Work with architects and end-users. Excellent analytical and communication skills required. Must be self-disciplined, flexible and adaptable. Technical expertise: Strong iSeries (AS400) COBOL, ILE, SQL experience is a must.
