WebTrends is a leader in Web Analytics and Marketing Performance Management solutions.  The job of Account Manager (AM) is to increase the company’s leadership position in the assigned geography by driving sales in pursuit of exceeding a quota and ensuring client satisfaction.  The position is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Portland, Oregon.  The AM will focus on selling WebTrends products and additional services to existing customers and net new organizations while providing clients with top tier customer service and account management.

 

Primary Responsibilities:Own a unique set of assigned accounts plus new prospects in a defined geographyDrive Renewal Revenue, Add-on Revenue, Professional Services Revenue and Net New Business Revenue.Serve as the single point of contact for customer success.Develop and execute customer engagement strategy.Succeed in a team selling environment with a Field Account Executive and Solutions Engineer for maximum territory and client coverage.Objectively measure customer satisfaction and communicate to management in a concise and timely fashionExecute marketing programs designed around retention and development of existing customer accountsConsistently forecast monthly and quarterly performance within a 10% margin of error.Facilitate on-site customer “summits” with WebTrends staff as appropriateDrive reference-able accounts over time, increasing adoption of the WebTrends solution within the client organization and maximizing customer lifetime value.Behavior and tasks will include, but not be limited to, regular interaction at multiple levels within the client organization and managing the overall experience with WebTrends.Develop and leverage partner relationships and alliances.Stay abreast of industry changes and trends.

 

Required Skills/Experience:Bachelors Degree required. Minimum 3-5 years experience in sales of technical products/services. Proven Track record meeting and exceeding revenue quota in an Inside Sales roleExperience in selling “on-premise” and “on-demand” solutions strongly preferred Experience selling software solutions to marketing organizations strongly preferredAbility to manage several tasks and multiple responsibilities. Goal-oriented and incentive driven with a history of overachievement.Detail oriented, relationship-building skills and a passion for superb customer service. Strong communication skills; ability to establish rapport with customers quickly. Proven ability to handle, adapt, and overcome change.Team player with a positive attitude. Microsoft Office skills and Salesforce.com.  

 

Scope:

This is an individual contributor position.

 

Interaction:

This position is both externally and internally facing. The successful candidate must be able to build and maintain strong and professional working relationships internally with members of the Account Management, Sales Operations and Tech Support Teams, and externally with customers and all others he/she may come into contact with.

 

Working Conditions:The office is located in a high rise in downtown Portland.  Extensive phone time is required. The job requires no travel.
