About this Opportunity: We are looking for a dynamic and technically savvy Technology Sales/Account Manager, to work for a growing software consulting company. We offer a fun, professional work environment that fosters creativity. Applicant should have the maturity and communication skills to interface with clients and senior colleagues as well. Additionally, the applicant should be well organized and be able to effectively multi-task, while handling sales and sourcing time pressures and deadlines. The successful candidate will have a highly visible and influential role in growing TechOne's consulting practice.
The Technology Sales/Account Manager will carry a monthly and yearly revenue quota, would develop prospect list and initiate contact; create value proposition for the account; develop relationship and close sales; manage account and client relationships and should have a demonstrated ability to handle key and sensitive client situations.
Finally, selected applicants will be positive, confident, results-driven, self-managing individuals who can quickly build and maintain relationships to sell our services and expand the sales department, IT consulting services, to SMBs (Small to Medium Businesses) and enterprises.
Sales Responsibilities:
* Prospecting, sales and cold calls to client's internal engineering and IT groups
* Conducting market research, networking, presenting to clients, getting and fulfilling sales orders.
* Consultant management: build relationships, reporting.
* Regular travel (locally) to visit key accounts required.
Recruitment Possibilities:
* Working with resume databases and job boards such as Monster, HotJobs, DICE etc.
* Utilize additional skills such as networking, professional organizations, user groups, forums, etc.
* Be able to work under pressure, tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
* Full life-cycle technical recruiting: source, screen, interview candidates and resume management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Should have 3-5 years of experience in a sales, business development or account management capacity.
* Ability to develop and manage external relationships with many of TechOne existing clients.
* Ability to prospect and develop profitable and strong customer relationships.
* Strong verbal and written communication and follow through skills.
* Ability to learn quickly and take initiative, work strategically, creatively and professionally.
* Basic knowledge of computer/internet skills, such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of Prohire / VurvExpress or other CRM preferred.
* IT domain experience and buzzword familiarity (i.e. NMS). Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and ntier (multi-tier) architecture is required; telecommunications knowledge desired, but not required.

Schedule: M-F / 40 hrs per wk. You may set your own hours within these parameters
Salary: We have a Pay-Per-Performance plan, which includes a base salary + commission, which is competitive and negotiable dependant upon performance of both sales and recruitment.
Location: 630 Alder Drive, Milpitas, CA with some flexibility to telecommute from a local, home-based office after you start to consistently deliver results.
