Accounting/Travel Analyst

 Accounting/Travel Analyst   Job Code: CHQ04081008   Job Description: Prepare various comparative quarter-end analyses for travel department. Produce various monthly/quarterly metrics and variance reports. Assist in maintaining administration of various travel department projects. Research, understand, and perform complex travel account analysis, reconciliations and data validation. Work through complex transactions, systems, and interfaces. Lead and direct meetings with internal and external customers. Document and communicate milestones and timelines for assigned projects. Strong team work required.  Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of five years of experience in Finance or Accounting discipline.  Experience: Experience with travel analysis preferred. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required. PeopleSoft knowledge preferred. Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions/processes. Results-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Able to work with minimal day to day supervision. Ability to build relationships and embrace change. Able to work effectively with all levels of management. Ability to research, understand, and perform complex financial account analysis, reconciliations and data validation. Must be a self-starter capable of working through complex transactions, systems, and interfaces. Must be able to lead and direct meetings with internal and external customers. Must be able to document and communicate milestones and timelines for assigned projects.
