Perform acquisition/engineering support activities relevant to the research, design and development of physical and force protection systems. Develop, prepare and review acquisition/engineering support documentation. Provide technical knowledge and guidance on the design, research and development of physical security systems and or projects. Review and evaluate acquisition documents/engineering designs for requirements compliance. Manages costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Ensures schedule and budget are met. Identifies need for change, determines course of action and revises as appropriate. Specific knowledge of the DoD Directives 5000 Acquisition Series and the Defense Acquisition Guidebook.Basic Qualifications Baccalaureate Degree Required in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent. Masters Degree in associated discipline is preferred. Seven or more years project planning/management experience in related industry or equivalent. Specific knowledge of the DoD Directives 5000 Acquisition Series and the Defense Acquisition Guidebook required Other Qualifications Strong Coordination and Communication Skills. Must be able to successfully work independently with little or no guidance or supervision. Ability to handle multiple actions at once in a fast paced energetic environment Solid writing, communication, briefing development and presentation skills. This position will require frequent interface and coordination with Army and other Service organizations, physical security users and equipment developers.
