Seeking an Adaptive Data Warehousing Practice Leader. The Business Technology Solutions Division covers the complete lifecycle of information management: from initial strategy and technology selection, through design and deployment, to long-term support and iterative improvement. This division consists of practices in and Business Intelligence, Adaptive Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, Knowledge Management, Portal Solutions and Business Process Management.

 

The Adaptive Data Warehousing (ADW) practice focuses on designing and developing innovative data warehousing practices to build flexible yet powerful data warehousing platforms. The ADW practice works with other practices within the firm (such as BI, MDM, Portal Solutions, Knowledge Management and Business Process Improvement) to deliver a total solution to their end customers. The ADW practice has developed strong capabilities and has implemented several data management projects of various scale and complexities.

 

Job Description:

 

The Adaptive Data Warehousing Practice Leader will be responsible for managing and growing a book of business in the data management arena. The ideal candidate will manage the P&L of the practice and grow the base of business by developing the existing client base as well as acquiring new customers. In this capacity he/she will be responsible for developing innovative offerings, as well as methodologies that provide greater value to the customers and differentiates the company from the competition. He/She will work with other practices at the firm to identify cross-sell opportunities and assist with the development and delivery of proposals across practices. Other responsibilities include technical strategy, market positioning, quality assurance, and process improvement.

 

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following

 

 

·  Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Masters preferred

·  Demonstrated ability to grow and manage a consulting practice in the area of data warehousing, business intelligence, MDM or related data management.

·  Demonstrated ability to carry an annual revenue quota.

·  Excellent sales/presentation skills. Must be able to articulate a solution and win the confidence of prospective clients.

·  Good network of past clients partners and peers.

·  Experience in creating marketing materials to support service offerings

·  Significant experience in the design, building and implementation of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Solutions

·  Strong technical and functional expertise across a wide range of technologies in the DW, ETL, BI and MDM space.

·  Deep understanding of the business context of IT and the inherent opportunities and risks

·  Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management staff, employees, clients, and consultants

·  Ability to develop long-term plans and programs and evaluate work accomplishments

·  Some travel required
