Please apply directly on our website: http://xiotech.com/About_Careers.aspx Position Information: Company: Xiotech Corporation (www.xiotech.com)Job Title: Advanced Technical Account ManagerReports To: VP ServicesDepartment: Customer Service  Summary:This person will be responsible for working with Hardware Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service to solve product related problems with customers and suppliers and to provide ongoing improvements to all supported products in production.  This person will apply troubleshooting steps to Recognize, Verify, Analyze, Isolate, and Repair (RVAIR) hardware and software related product defects. This person will also provide Advance Support for escalated Customer Service issues.  As such, this position requires participation in an “On Call” rotation to provide Advanced Support on a 24/7 basis.  The ideal candidate will work independently and as a member of technical response teams; assembled to address identified product problems or service escalations. Reports to Advanced Support Manager for CS. This person should also be open to a small-to-moderate level of travel, both domestic and international. Required Skills Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of 7 years experience in embedded firmware and/or systems software programming and debugging in development or continuation engineering environments. Experience with various different operating systems environments. Experience in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of microprocessor based computer systems and components, application servers, disk drives, storage enclosures, switches, etc. Experience providing technical support to project teams or service personnel. Experience in identifying and implementing hardware or software improvements to computer based systems and subsystems. Experience in developing verification tests to validate firmware/software modifications. A demonstrated ability to work independently while keeping their manager properly informed of their status. Desired Skills Experience with software change management tools used for versioning and defect tracking. Experience working directly with OEM as your customer and provide related levels of support. Experience with storage area networks (SAN) is a plus.  We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
