Agile Lead

Cardinal Solutions is an IT consulting firm providing technology expertise in custom application development, data warehousing, and business intelligence.  Cardinal’s Project Services Group of Senior Managers and Analysts delivers project management services, software lifecycle training and process improvement mentoring.  Cardinal Solutions is a leading System Integrator for Enterprise Content Management, Document Management, and Product Lifecycle Management solutions.  We provide industry expertise in Banking, Insurance, Commercial Retail and Government Sectors.  Cardinal Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Project Services Practice as an Agile Lead. The Senior Analyst is responsible providing direction, instruction and training to software development teams in the area of agile software principles.  The Agile Lead will assist an organization in learning the agile process and implementing agile within their corporate software environment. This professional will focus on understanding the clients’ business needs and how our solutions meet their needs. The Senior Business Analyst also assists in proposal writing and project leadership; drives the analysis, design, and development of the clients’ solution; writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to deploy the clients business solution; plans for and conducts testing to ensure our recommended solution meets the business needs; and works closely with Cardinal's management team.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree Hands on experience with agile development practices, preferably with large organizations Experience working as a subject matter expert Strong full life cycle software application development background is required Experience working as a liaison between Business Units and IT in large organizations Experience with logical data modeling Experience with workflow modeling Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in teaching and/or mentoring Extensive experience in facilitating client meetings and conducting detailed interviews to solicit user requirements Commitment to diligence and excellence in customer serviceDesired Skills: Scrum certification and/or demonstrable experience Strong knowledge of the Rational Unified Process Experience with process design, using tools such as Rational, Visio, Erwin, etc. Project management certifications (e.g. PMP) are a plus Individual and team coaching expertise, with ability to train and lead technical teams in learning new skills Deep understanding of all software lifecycle development disciplines - Project Management, Requirements Management, Analysis & Design, Quality Assurance (Testing), Implementation, Deployment, Configuration & Change ManagementCardinal Solutions has created a team-oriented environment with quality people, career advancement opportunities, and an excellent compensation and benefits package including medical/dental, 401 (k) with employer matching, incentive bonus plan, tuition reimbursement, training programs, and much more.
