We offer both functional and technical consulting paths. In this role, you have the responsibility for supporting the delivery of technical and business solutions within a project setting. You will develop foundation-level skill sets in computer programming, application testing, and project documentation. From Consulting Associate, you may advance to Technical Analyst. You continue to gain experience in program development and unit testing while actively participating in delivery of technical and business solutions. You will be responsible for technical component delivery and play a more prominent role in developing business processes. In addition, you assume responsibility for testing application code from a technical perspective and verifying that programs follow standards and meet technical specifications. Expectation for Travel: For the Consulting Division of CSC, all roles desire a commitment to 100% travel. This doesn't mean that consultants will always be traveling for assignments, but new consultants joining the CSC team need to understand that they could be assigned to a travel role. The staffing process focuses on assigning people to local roles as a first priority; however, if consultants are available and have the right skills for an assignment for another CSC office across the United States, they may be staffed into that travel assignment. Technical: With guidance from subject matter experts, apply current technologies (e.g. hardware, software, packaged applications, tools) to support the delivery of technical solutions.
