An Application-Software Development consultant is needed in Middletown, NJ. This position is responsible for system design, development and operations deployment of multiple projects related to networking, routers and DSL. The person in this position will provide support for production services.

 

The consultant will be responsible for detailed design based on business and technical requirements documents and software development. The consultant will also be responsible for working with test teams to remove defects from code and deploying services to production locations.

 

Experience with network provisioning and maintenance platforms for IP networks is highly desired. Router configuration management knowledge as well as experience with INSTAR and/or GFP is also desired.

 

Expertise is required with:

-Router Configuration Mgmt (Cisco/Juniper)  

-Java / Web Services  

-Networks   

-Unix / Linux  

-TCP/IP    

-PERL   

-HTML/XML  

 

Expertise is required with:

-Oracle
