Applications Development Manager

Our client, a Fortune 500 producer of consumer products seeks a leader to manage its key manufacturing related data system. Its category leading products continue to provide cost-saving solutions for Food, Healthcare, Industrial and other key Commercial business channels. Demand for these has driven substantial national and worldwide sales. This manufacturer is looking for an individual to head key implementation and execution of its existing manufacturing IT system at its key Wisconsin facility. Essential duties will include leadership responsibilities to ensure the day-to-day accuracy and development of this shop floor technical systems. To support the platform this leader will manage the activities of 2 direct reporting Programmer/Analysts and 1 Project Manager to develop data project management/key impact changes related to machine support, raw material waste management, and product assembly flow. Special on-going duties will be focused on future goals to further mesh this system with the company's in-progress master plan for SAP integration.To qualify for this exciting opportunity you must possess a minimum of 5 years experience dedicated to IT Project Management plus related team supervisory experience. Additional experience with technical side manufacturing processes or shop floor related manufacturing systems is highly valued. A successful track record centered around multiple project life cycle components like requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment sets you apart. SAP materials management experience or other related SAP background is highly desirable. A college degree plus related technical background or equivalent experience is required.
