Oco is growing rapidly and has immediate new opening for an Applications Programmer.  As an Applications Programmer, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in our customer implementations and will interact with the multi-disciplinary delivery team.  You will utilize Oco’s cutting edge tools and proprietary processes.  The ideal candidates will have strong programming skills, great innovation and are ready to take their career to the next level.  The Applications Programmer reports directly to the Delivery Program Manager.



The Applications Programmer will be responsible for:

 

-  Configuring a variety of applications based on design specifications

-  Front-end configuration of applications. 

-  Applying modifications to existing source code.

-  Testing software applications for new and existing customers.

-  Assisting in development of new applications as needed based on customer requirements and design specifications.

-  Working closely with the Project Manager to determine the client’s needs and to meet the project goals.

-  Assisting in the testing of internal systems, as well as client implementations.

-  Taking initiative when a problem is found to notify the appropriate individuals or to fix the problem when possible.

 

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

-2 or more years experience MS SQL Server programming.

-  2 or more years experience with ColdFusion MX.

-  Experience with HTML/DHTML/Javascript/XML.

-  Familiarity with relational database design and development.

-Adobe FLEX development and Graphic experience is a plus.

-  Exceptional communication and follow through in resolving outstanding issues.

-  Excellent organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize and execute work

-  Self motivator and self starter with creative problem solving skills.

-  Ability to accept direction and meet aggressive deadlines
