Applications System Analyst III

Our client, a highly respected Boston area hospital is seeking an Applications System Analyst III to work with a team of Application Systems Programmers to perform a variety of IT tasks such as: interacting with end-users, producing functional specifications, adhering to IT system change management processes, completing system tests, troubleshooting/supporting existing production systems, and participating in new installations. 

Bachelor's degree and experience in Health Care Information Technology required.  Experience in a Clinical Information Systems environment implementing Clincial Information Systems and/or Electronic medical record systems.  Project management experience is helpful.

Proficient in HL-7 messaging standards and experience in implementing, testing, and troubleshooting HL-7 interfaces including ADT, orders, and results.  Experience with Nuance/Dictaphone.  Experience implementing Radiology Information Systems (IDX Rad/GE, Kodak, HBOK or Siemens).  Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite products.  Familiar with Microsoft Project.
