Assembly Technician

Job Purpose:

This entry level position will be part of the Manufacturing team.  The purpose will be the assembly, upgrade, and repair of electronic equipment. 



Duties:

* Perform final assembly of electronic product from sub assemblies and replacement parts.



* Perform final testing of product.


* Follow procedures for assembly rework, upgrading, and testing of product.


* Disassemble/Reassemble units requiring repair.


* Perform in-process visual inspections of products.


* Follow good ESD practices.


* Request required parts from stock room.





Skills/Qualifications:

Basic mechanical and electrical skills, pertaining to electronic assembly, ability to work in a team environment, ability to solder and desolder electronic components, good written and verbal skills for communicating with technical staff, ability to lift 40 pounds.
