Asset Management Role - Contract to Hire

Modis is one of the world’s largest providers of information technology staffing services and solutions.  Currently we have more than 6,000 information technology professionals on assignment worldwide.  We serve more than 1,500 clients throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES:   Track all PC based POS equipment coming and going from the Asset Management Department. Provide asset requirement reports Create Purchase Order Requests. Use Support Magic ticketing system for assignment of assets. Assign POS equipment to other technicians for repair. Regularly update asset information for stores via the telephone andor e-mail. Maintain accurate information in IT Asset Manager database and related tracking applications. Reconcile bi-annual store inventory. Initiate shipping process of equipment to stores. Communicate with store personnel. Provide support to team members. Perform other related tasks as assigned.    QUALIFICATIONS:   Advanced Microsoft Access user skills. Minimum of one year PC (networking equipment, peripherals, etc) related equipment hardware knowledge/experience, A+ Certified a plus. Technical skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems. Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have organizational skills. Detail oriented. Data entry experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to multitask and remain focused on deliverables. The ability to work independently and in a team environment. The ability to learn and take initiative quickly.  Company: Modis, Inc.
