Assistant Operations Manager

TransCore, a subsidiary of Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a full-time Assistant Operations Manager to join the staff in Harrisburg, PA. 

 

The Assistant Operations Manager will provide assistance in managing supervisors and the hourly workforce, including hiring and training.  This professional will fill in as needed in various areas within department, and assist management in the formulation and revision of policies and procedures. He/she will prepare spreadsheets and other communications as required and interface with customers.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of company management.Relevant operations, accounting and supervisory/managerial experience. Ability to work independently with latitude to identify issues and recommend solutions. Ability to multi-task and be very organized, as well as have a strong attention to detail. Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.Excellent time management skills.Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or equivalent work experience
